Your Solution to Grubs

Three Simple Tips We Remove Grubs from Your Lawn

Check Before You Treat

Look for brown patches, spongy turf, or animals digging at night. These signs confirm grubs are the problem hiding beneath your grass.

Attack at Every Stage

We target eggs, young grubs, and mature larvae before they turn into Japanese beetles or European chafers. This stops root damage fast.

Keep Them Gone

Grub preventer and beneficial nematodes stop future eggs from hatching. Your lawn stays protected long-term, season after season.

Step 1: Lawn Health Assessment

We perform a thorough inspection of your turf, checking for "spongy" soil and brown patches to identify active grub zones.

Step 2: Species Identification

We determine the specific type of beetle larvae present to ensure we use the most effective treatment for their life cycle.

Step 3: Targeted Larvicide Application

Our team apply professional-grade treatments that penetrate the soil to eliminate grubs before they can further damage your root system.

Step 4: Deep Root Watering & Activation

We guide you on proper irrigation to ensure the treatment reaches the root zone where grubs live and feed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Let us answer a few of your questions regarding grubs!

They are the larval stage of beetles (like Japanese Beetles). They live underground and survive by eating your grass roots, effectively “unplugging” your lawn from its food and water source.

Look for three main signs:

  • The “Carpet” Test: If you can pull back patches of grass like a loose rug, grubs have eaten the roots.

  • Spongy Turf: The ground feels bouncy or soft when you walk on it.

  • Midnight Visitors: Skunks, raccoons, or birds digging holes are a sure sign they’ve found a grub “buffet.”

  • Prevention (Best): Late spring to early summer (June–July) to stop eggs from hatching.

  • Curative (Emergency): Late summer to early fall (August–September) while grubs are small and feeding near the surface.

Usually not. By spring, grubs are large, mature, and getting ready to turn into beetles. They are much harder to kill at this stage, so we recommend waiting for the new generation in summer.

If you have a history of infestations or see widespread damage, treating the whole lawn is safest. However, for minor issues, we can focus on specific “hot spots” where they are most active.
