About Me

Hi, I’m an entomologist with a degree in Entomology & Nematology. I specialize in Urban Pest Management. I started Bug Lady to blend science with real-world pest control solutions.

But Bug Lady isn’t just about getting rid of pests. As an Entomology, I also bring pest control education to schools, co-ops, and community groups.

    My experience with this company was easy and efficient. Once I called them, I was quickly set up with all the services that suited my property’s needs. After they finished their work at my property, I noticed a significant absence of the pests that were once rampant. Let’s not forget to mention all the work that they do in the community. I had the pleasure to attend one their outreaches and surprised how much I learned about insects. I may have been a bit too absorbed into an outreach meant to teach children but they are very accommodating to all ages. From start to finish, my experience with them was amazing. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone who is having trouble with pests.

        Family run company who cares about their customers! From mosquitoes to palmetto bugs/roaches, and ants- they’ve helped me combat every annoyance.           In an absolute panic, I called Lettie when I discovered my house had bed bugs. She came out immediately and started a plan to get the house rid of the pests. She and her team moved quickly and got my house tented and bed bug free, 2 days before Thanksgiving. I still can’t thank her enough for her professionalism and promptness in getting this done and I recommend this team to anyone with pest control needs. No one is more knowledgeable and I can say that confidently. She and her brother Sean have since done their outreach program with my children’s homeschool group of over 40 children for the past 3 years and it’s our favorite day of the year. They are so informative, funny, and engaging with the kids and they always ask when Bug Lady can come back out. I love how they give back to the community and educate the next generation. All around amazing family owned company that I can’t recommend enough all across the board.

                    We had our first experience with The Bug Lady today for a small birthday/family gathering. What an experience!! The Bug Lady and her Bug Brother showed up on time and ready to go! Our kids ages range from 3-5 and everyone had a great time! It was educational and fun. We were so sad when the show was over. The Bug Lady was so nice and full of information. She had a way with the kids to keep their attention and also stayed super calm when the kids got excited and started getting up. This was definitely a unique experience! Anyone looking for a little educational show for your littles that loves bugs you’ve come to the right place. Hoping we can find another occasion to have them back 🤗
