About Me

Hi, I’m an entomologist with a degree in Entomology & Nematology. I specialize in Urban Pest Management.

Basically, I started Bug Lady to mix science with real-world best pest control solutions. It’s a whole lot of education. My goal? To help people understand bugs and feel more in control of them.

But Bug Lady isn’t just about getting rid of pests. I also bring pest control education to schools, co-ops, and community groups. As an entomologist, I love sparking curiosity about insects, science, and even future careers.

And once the curiosity is lit? We go one step further. We offer expert pest management that actually works; keeping homes and businesses safe, clean, and bug-free.

    My experience with this company was easy and efficient. Once I called them, I was quickly set up with all the services that suited my property’s needs. After they finished their work at my property, I noticed a significant absence of the pests that were once rampant. Let’s not forget to mention all the work that they do in the community. I had the pleasure to attend one their outreaches and surprised how much I learned about insects. I may have been a bit too absorbed into an outreach meant to teach children but they are very accommodating to all ages. From start to finish, my experience with them was amazing.           In an absolute panic, I called Lettie when I discovered my house had bed bugs. She came out immediately and started a plan to get the house rid of the pests. She and her team moved quickly and got my house tented and bed bug free, 2 days before Thanksgiving. I still can’t thank her enough for her professionalism and promptness in getting this done and I recommend this team to anyone with pest control needs. No one is more knowledgeable and I can say that confidently. She and her brother Sean have since done their outreach program with my children’s homeschool group of over 40 children for the past 3 years and it’s our favorite day of the year. They are so informative, funny, and engaging with the kids and they always ask when Bug Lady can come back out. I love how they give back to the community and educate the next generation.                     We had our first experience with The Bug Lady today for a small birthday/family gathering. What an experience!! The Bug Lady and her Bug Brother showed up on time and ready to go! Our kids ages range from 3-5 and everyone had a great time! It was educational and fun. We were so sad when the show was over. The Bug Lady was so nice and full of information. She had a way with the kids to keep their attention and also stayed super calm when the kids got excited and started getting up. This was definitely a unique experience! Anyone looking for a little educational show for your littles that loves bugs you’ve come to the right place. Hoping we can find another occasion to have them back 🤗
